What are the symptoms of thyroid cancer?
Unfortunately, Thyroid Cancer is difficult to detect because its symptoms are minimal and can be very subtle. It is for this reason that Kris Iyer, MD claims most patients will either fail to detect Thyroid Cancer, or that they will detect it by a lucky chance. Located in the front of the lower neck, the Thyroid may begin to swell up. Physicians sometimes can detect this swelling during an examination. Alternatively, a patient may notice the swelling themselves. Either way, most times the swelling is noticed by accident, not because a patient is concerned about having Thyroid Cancer. Some additional symptoms may include trouble swallowing or possible neck pain.
