How Do You Diagnose Hip Disorders In Children?
Doctor Francois Lalonde, MD talks about ways to diagnose hip disorders in children. Children from ages around 4 to 10 years old may be experiencing a subtle limp, sometimes also prevalent with knee pain. This can be painful for the child and also make it harder for them to walk. After doing a physical exam, doctors can do x-rays to look further into the problem. Perhaps there is a lack of blood supply or another abnormality. Doctors can treat this by taking preventative measures such as working to expand the range of motion.
